I am originally from Okinawa, Japan. I started my career at Kadena Air Base as an interpreter and secretary for a Japanese construction company. My job relocated me to the United States, where I  became a mother of two beautiful boys.

I took my sons back home to Okinawa in the summer of 2017. We spent time with the family and indulged in great food and enjoyed the beautiful weather. The flight took about 24 hours with two connect flights in LAX, Tokyo-Narita Japan, and to Okinawa-Naha Airport.

My favorite touristic spot was Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, which is located in Ocean Expo Park in Nago, Okinawa. It was the largest aquarium in the world until it was surpassed by the Georgia Aquarium in 2005. Also my sons loved Pineapple Park. I have an international driver’s license. So my means of transportation was mainly driving a rented car, however, driving on the left side of the road was really challenging. My favorite dishes there are Soba Noodle Soup, Sushi and Curry Rice. Lastly, if you ever have a chance to visit Far East Asia, definitely Okinawa, Tokyo is a place to go. Food is great and the weather is fantastic!
