Since my childhood, I’ve always thought that success was about something you achieve, something you accomplish or a title you are being acknowledged for. But none of these give the true meaning of success. Because success is simply being able to make yourself happy.

Growing up as the youngest from an average type family, life has never been easy to me, neither to anyone. Although, getting a degree is still a dream for me, it never hinders me from sorting out my resources. Being smart alone is never enough. It only serves as one point to complete a 100% success, and the rest is all about you, yourself.

I went to Holy Angel University and took up AB Communications and was a columnist for the University Publication and eventually became the chair of a governmental youth organization that develops youth and gets them involved in cultural and sports activities and the dynamic world of the new generation. Aligned with all this, I was fortunate to meet different people who I would say are successful and give success a different definition. The one answer I would get if I asked what is happiness for them, they would say it’s wanting to give more to others. It has never been for yourself alone.

If I’m to be asked, what I am successful with, nothing! Because I am successful FOR people who have always made me do it, made me want it and even made me work hard for it. We are all successful in our own little ways. It depends on ourselves how big or small we see it.
