“Art is my life, a passion within me“

Everyone has a passion for something in their life that motivates or inspires them in some way. I believe that having a passion is an important human need to express oneself.
Art is my life, a passion within me. It speaks about the beauty hidden in the deepest depths of the human soul. I am indeed lucky and blessed with this marvelous talent and at the same time overwhelmed to be called as an Artist.
I wasn’t expecting that I was going to be hooked up in this kind of passion, so I decided to take up a Bachelor of Animation Major in Digital Arts. I learned a lot in this course which enhanced my knowledge about painting like freehand drawing, landscape, anatomy, and creative design.
Someday I would like to open my own gallery and present my art to the world.
And as the days go by, I just see myself improving. In 2009, I got a chance to showcase my talent in my first exhibit at University of Makati. It was a great privilege that people could see my art and be able to tell them the story of each painting. I also met a lot of artists who shared their knowledge. My latest exhibit was in 2017, held at Taguig City, Philippines.
Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to finish my studies but I didn’t stop pursuing my passion for drawing. As Martin Luther said: “If you can’t fly then run, if you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.”
I want to be a successful and a well-known artist someday. Till then, I am improving my current skill level. I won’t stop dreaming until it happens, because I believe that the biggest adventure you can take is to live the life of your dreams. So continue following your passion and invest time in it. Only passions, great passions, can elevate the soul to great things.
