” If there is one person that I can really look up to at this point, that would be Alexis Davis.”
~Sean Livingston – Centro Manila
I used to think that working in a call center was simple, repetitive and boring. I felt like I would just have to deliver my spiel, get a sale, assist some customers and I would be done. These assumptions changed when I started working at Centro Global Solutions. Meeting competitive agents, reliable mentors and Team Leaders changed how I see my job. I joined the Centro Family in May, almost three months ago, but I feel like I’ve been working here for years already. I easily gauge the tasks at hand, thanks to my supportive mentors. I can feel the pressure, but I am more challenged and motivated seeing the other agents work hard and persevere.
I know how hard everybody works daily. This drives me to push harder and give my best effort every day. I admire my co-workers’ dedication as well. If there is one person that I can really look up to at this point, that would be Alexis Davis. We used to work together in our previous company, with him as my Team Leader. Since then, I’ve seen how he works professionally and diligently. Now that we are both part of the Centro Family as agents, I can’t see any problem with him adjusting to the new environment. I can see the same person working as hard as everybody else, pushing himself further, and not minding the competition amongst his former subordinates. I can say that there is friendly competition in our team.
For me, learning in this company will not stop me from getting used to our account, knowing the spiel by heart, and navigating the system effortlessly. I will continue learning more, especially when it comes to work ethics and attitude towards our tasks. With the unwavering guide and support from our Team Leaders and Manager I know that I can push myself to go the extra mile in whatever I am asked to do.
