I started realizing the meaning of this quote at the age of 16 and that was when I started working. I decided to get a job not because of any specific reason that forced me to, but because of an idea that came to my mind. I believed in myself and something made me think and say, “I can and I will”.
My first job in Sharm El Sheikh was an event organizer for one of the top international power drink brands worldwide. I was dealing with American clients and American ministries and I used to organize events that cost millions of pounds. I was in charge of a team of 10, yet I was the youngest event organizer in the entire company. That made a lot of people wonder; how can a 16-year-old boy handle such a position in a multi-national company? My answer was very simple: I believe in myself!
During my younger years, I was fortunate enough to learn English from my father. He was an English teacher with 36 years of experience. He taught me everything I needed to know when I was only 5. When I was 11, I was already fluent. In school, I participated in several language competitions and I won 7 of them by the age of 11.
Now I can proudly say that I achieved a lot of my goals at a very young age, and I’m very happy that I’m working for one of the best companies, Centro.
