My name is Ahmad EL-Masry, AKA (Tim Hunt). An Accounting graduate who saw his future on a different path. My first job started when I was 16 years old and I’ve tried various jobs since then, till 2006 when I got a job in the call center field and moved from one call center to another. I’ve always had a dream to travel & live abroad, specifically Italy, without any awareness how would that happen. And it just happened out of nowhere! I lived in Italy for 2.5 years. The first year as a Sales & Marketing Assistant, afterwards, I got promoted to a Key Account Manager. Then, I had to come back to Egypt.

Moving around different careers, inside & outside Egypt, I’ve been trying very hard to run away from call center jobs and invest in myself in different fields, trying to figure out my passion. Till I realized one day that I shouldn’t run away from the field in which I have skills, strengths and knowledge. When I accepted this fact and decided to move forward, I came to Centro. At this point, I made a decision that I wanna grow up in this place and create my own opportunities.

I started as a Telemarketing Agent, then a Quality Coach, then a Team Leader in the Quality Monitoring Department, then a Project Implementation Specialist & QMS Specialist. I decided to attend an NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) course which helped me learn more about myself. I’ve learned a lot and I decided to listen to my inner voice till I realized one day that I have a passion for raising awareness & helping others. That’s when I eliminated all mental barriers and I decided to start over in a new career, regardless of age, years of experience or any other societal barriers. And that’s when I started to feel the actual value of my work at Centro and my life, explore more potential in myself and I’m still trying & learning …

I believe that stories are not shared nor transferred to hear “Wows”! They are shared to bring value to our lives, raise awareness, positively impact our choices, touch the lives of others and inspire them.

And that’s my cause and my story. What’s your cause and your story?
